Seperti tahun-tahun sebelumnya, sheffz games muncul lagi untuk tahun 2005 pulak..
Tahun ney, sheffz games dijalankan di Concord Sports Center, just near my previous secondary Firth Park College. Dari luar, Concord Sports Center looks like and old abandoned factory. But once I entered the place it didn't seem bad at All!..Very suprising... It was well structured, all the facilities and equipments were in good condition hehehe..I guess btolla apa org selalu perkatakan, u just can't judge a book by it's cover right..same thing applies to this..anyway, back to my story about sheffz games tahun ney.. Honestly speaking, last year's sheffz games memang sangat meriah. Berduyun-duyun yang dtg, I mean all of them came from other places around UK.. just imagine how havoc it was, and most of them were football players, netball players dan others yg still was involved..Kebiasaannya mmg 2 sukan neyla yang menjadi pilihan ramai..Kadang2 tu sampai 7-8 teams for each sukan.. Bukan takde acara lain yang dipertandingkan, ada tu ada, cuma kurang mendapat sokongan berbanding netball and football..Acara badminton pon tidak kurang hebatnya, basketball pon ada, tapi basketball mmg ramai Chinese..And mmg tidak dinafikan mmg bab2 basketball ney, u give to the Chinese, they are really good.. This year, our family decided to berniaga lauk...well, at first we expected ramai yg participate, but it turned out that mmg sikit sgt org tahun ney!! why?? itu yg menjadi persoalan.. pelik but alhamdulillah jualan laku.. nak tanak, dah lari sana sini, active sana sini, lapar jugakla jwbnye. kenela isi perut!Though, I also grabbed the chance to take part in the netball comp.. sounds scary when u think about it right; competing with undergrads?? and my team semuanya terdiri drpd teenagers?? bukan teens jer, adik2 umo 15, 12 years old pon ade.What do u expect, miracles?* wink * wink ..But hey come on, we still had the guts to face them!! semangat kesukanan membara di jiwa kami...heheheheh how it turned out??? u wouldn't want to know.. We played for 4 matches all 2 gether, but satupon tak menang..hahaha but we still managed to give them a *good fight*..Takdela teruk sgt, but tula kakak2 ney they are experienced players compare to us..Alhamdulillah we still enjoyed ourselves and the best thing is that we had the chance to meet our mates yg turun ke sheffz aritu..mmg jrg jumpe diorang bcoz kitorang duduk all over the places, scattered, sorang di Leeds, sorang di Manchester, sorang di Loughborough and especially the Birminghams.However,that gives the sign to people that the main objective of this game was achieved..Merapatkan silaturrahim antara satu sama lain as well as giving the opportunity for us to get to know rakan2 seperjuangan kami di UK ini.Kami pon apa lagi; sakan la bergambar!!..hehehehe tak lupa juga aritu, the boys main football..mmg salute sama mereka..they got into quaterfinal, kalahkan 2 other teams including Londonase..mmg berbakat remaja2 lelaki sheffield ney..~Kalola team kitorang sehebat mereka~ kekeke anyway, Our club (Kelab Remaja Sheffield)turut mengambil kesempatan untuk menjual gula2 on that day, and guess what? Itu yg laku dulu!! habis, selesai semuanya.. Another victory for us!~ Tak menang netball, dapat untuk berniaga pon jadilah~ hehehehhe Tapi apa-apapon..it was a great and memorable experience for all of us, including my mum yg bersusah payah masak untuk berniaga,My bro and dad yg jadi tukang jual, to the organiser and the staffs yang bertungkus lumus mencurah bakti and tenaga to handle the game,same compliment to the players and every single person that participate in the event...A round of applause to everyone!
Hopefully next year's sheffz games will be more enjoyable and lively!
